It’s August and the sign of Leo. This is the only sign not ruled by a planet, but a star, The Sun. The Sun shines bright through the summer. The Sun brings light and warmth.
Some of the qualities of Leo are dramatic, regal, stylish, warm, charming, gifted and confident. There’s also generous, expansive, creative, artsy, self-disciplined, magnetic, brave and a calm demeanor. However, this is the Lion so know there may only be an outward appearance of calm, yet below there’s passion and fire.

Why the focus on Leo? Well, it’s my birthday this month and the one thing I know is that the above qualities are not just for Leos. Everyone possesses these qualities in one form or another because you all have the sign of Leo in your birth chart.
All of these attributes and qualities shine in the Light. I could list all the darker shadow qualities of Leo (or everyone), but why bother? We can see and hear enough of the darker qualities in news and social media.
Isn’t it more important and doesn’t it feel better to stand in the Light?
Think about the warmth of the sun, the ability to see clearly, the healthy vitamins, the freedom and the LIGHT!

This August has two Full Moons. August 1 is a Full Moon in Aquarius, the Sturgeon Moon and also a super moon meaning it is close to earth. The Sturgeon Full Moon is identified as such because the sturgeon in the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain are said to be active around this time of year.
The second Full Moon is on August 30 in Pisces. This is a Blue Moon. A Blue Moon is the second Full Moon in a month.
